Peedac Pty Ltd provides a range of services through the Indigenous Employment Program which cater to the needs of the Jobseeker, Employment Service Provider and Employer.
Training will be delivered in two key areas:
- Pre Employment Training
- Workforce Training Preparation
Pre Employment Program: The program will be open to all Indigenous job seekers with significant and or multiple barriers to employment. The program will have a strong emphasis on stream 3 and 4 job seekers referred by JSA providers.
The duration of the program will be conducted over a 4 week period. During this time the Job seeker will attend 3 times a week from Tuesday to Thursday between 9am to 2.30pm. (Lunch is provided for Jobseekers)
Workforce Training Preparation (Work Ready Options): The work ready program will be set as options for the Job seeker to go into the field of their choice of employment. The Job seeker will select a group of core subjects as well as a minimum of one of the elective subjects.
Core subjects can include: Senior First aid, White Card, Alcohol and Other drugs in the Workplace
Elective subjects can include: Forklift Tickets and Truck Driving Lessons
